Eternal Love Grid
During a meditation called "Compassionate Friend," we were guided to imagine ourselves in a 'safe place.' I pictured myself sitting in my bed at home, where it's quiet and secluded. Right outside my window, a magical blossom tree brushed its leaves against the glass. Beyond the tree, I could see a green playing field and hear the birds tweeting—a cozy, light-filled space. The bed was soft, with comforting and soothing duvet and pillows, nurturing and safe.
We were then asked to envision a compassionate friend, whether it be a being, animal, or guide. My childhood dog, Elsie, appeared, even though I hadn't thought about her in a long time. Elsie was a mix of many breeds, resembling a wolf, with a wild temperament and a knack for outsmarting everyone. She had a maternal presence and could have survived in the wild without care. There are many photos from my childhood with Elsie in the background, watching over me like a guardian.
When she arrived, we went to a forest. There, an angel-like being appeared, an old lady with long silver hair and a bright, white aura. I started floating up out of the forest with her into the sky but quickly missed Elsie and wanted to return. I asked the angelic figure to take me back, and we descended to a circular clearing surrounded by pine trees where Elsie patiently waited. In the distance, I saw Claude, my recently passed Lurcher, but he embodied love and sweetness rather than a wise maternal presence. Elsie radiated wisdom, loyalty, and instinct. I then saw my younger self beside Elsie, with her acting protectively and loyally.
In the meditation, we were guided to receive a present from this compassionate being and open it. Elsie, standing next to the angelic woman, gave me a small treasure box, the size of my hand. When I opened it, a glowing light with pink edges emanated from the box. I felt a glowing warmth and lovingness emanating through my chest, expanding from my heart center. Elsie told me this was the energy of eternal love. The glow connected to a vast square grid stretching into the distance. I felt as though I was plugging into this grid with my outstretched arms and palms, sensing that the energy of eternal love is always present, even if it's sometimes difficult to access.
Another reflection that struck me was how our psyche contains archetypal figures and symbols representing different forces. These figures and symbols influence our intuition and subconscious, persisting inside us even when we haven't thought of them for a long time.
